During our stay at Gîte du Haut des Arbres, we found the unique blend of nature and modernity quite captivating. The hotel's location on a forested cliff overlooking the Saguenay River provided stunning views. The crisp, clean rooms offered a comfortable stay, although some lower rooms lacked natural light. The outdoor pool was a refreshing touch, though not all rooms faced it. The owner's effort in crafting a stylish, contemporary design was evident throughout.While the value was reasonable, the luxury quotient fell slightly short. Basic amenities like tea and coffee facilities and soundproofing were absent, aligning more with a mid-range accommodation. However, the free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV were appreciated. The VIP check-in/out service was a nice touch, adding a hint of exclusivity.Gîte du Haut des Arbres offers a tranquil retreat with a good balance of comfort and style. It's a solid choice for those seeking a serene getaway in the Saguenay area.
